One of the best parts of our trip to the South was going to Huntsville, Alabama and seeing the Space Campers from SAS, Shanghai! The Space center is an awesome place and we all learned so much about missions in space, rockets and missiles, geo caching and lots more!

The highlight of this week was starting archery class! Music class, with a music teacher, will start next week too. Aneka and Rigel seem to enjoy being in a multi-age group for activities. So many different levels of learning happen then... We have been very fortunate to have met a number of people who we've connected with already. This certainly makes our transition easier! Rigel has connected with Craig, and the families are getting to know each other. Craig's mom, Martha, is from Colombia and has kindly agreed to do an Spanish-English session with us once a week! So, we've added Spanish to the Happer Micro-School curriculum! This has already motivated the kiddos to order in Spanish at our local, new fav, Mexican restaurant! Yesterday, we were invited to Craig's house which has a great, farmland location with gorgeous mountain views! We enjoyed spending the day with Craig and his family and made new animal friends too! Have a look: |
