Me and my team have been doing a project for the robot competition. You have to pick a question and then find a solution for it. So, our question was: How do the stars move throughout the seasons? We decided to present our research in the form of a fashion show. Each of the team members had to pick a constellation to be. Then, we had to research it and find out its ancient story and other fun facts about it. For our project, we made a wooden walk way, which has X-mas lights for decoration. We have an idea for a google app which lets you point your phone or tablet up into the night sky. You would be able to see what your device is looking at. It will show you the constellation that you are looking at and, if you tap it it will play a podcast about that constellation. We have our state tournament 1/18/15. we will be pefoming our show to the judges at the state tournament. To learn more about stars, especially Rigel, my namesake in the constellation of Orion, Mom and I are doing an online course on Orion and its stars. We are learning a lot about the creation of the Universe!
