| We have some amazing neighbors here on Green Mountain! Angela and Keith, who live down the road from us, have a special passion. They take care of rescued orphan baby deer that have been found in the area, rehabilitate injured deer and then release them. This is their busy time of year as the deer are busy growing and, like all babies, need their attention the most! The baby deer need goat's milk which they have to go get from a goat farm in the area. They also have to do midnight feeds for the little ones. All this on top of their full time job of renting cabins to vacationers! We have been fascinated by what and how Keith and Angela do this and at every opportunity have gone over to try to help with this amazing operation! The baby deers are adorable! Angela mentioned how the deer come back to visit after they are released, especially when they start their own families. They have started the release process with this generation of deer by leading them into the surrounding woods for a walk, guided by Angela's "Come, come!" |

Awww! That is really very sweet! But do they have a garden? I'm afraid to think what the gardeners would have to say about it...
