Project #2 was being crafty. With the arrival of fall, and seeing how people around this area decorate their front yards and porches to reflect this, we've been inspired to make our own fall craft projects! (More details on Preeti's page). Ri helped me make a fall wreath with twigs and branches that we found in the woods. I also added a corn hanging made from corn given to us from a neighbor, which I had hung to dry.
I realized that I've only been posting pictures of activities we do on bright and sunny days, so here are some for a rainy day! We love the sound of the raindrops on the roof of the cabin. It is especially soothing at night and most days it seems only to rain at night. Well, since we had an unusually rainy morning today, we took the opportunity to stay at home, do some reading and catch up on home projects! Project #1 was Room Clean Up! Here is the before and after of the kiddos rooms. They did this all by themselves...not bad for kids who are learning to pick and clean up after themselves after being spoiled by kind housekeepers in all the other places we've lived in! In case you're thinking Rigel's room doesn't look any different, it does! He just hadn't got around to putting back the cleaned bedsheets yet! :-) Project #2 was being crafty.
